In September, it was announced that the Australian investment bank Macquarie Asset Management, through Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 7, had acquired all shares in Zappy TopCo ApS and its subsidiary, the Horsens-based wind shipping company Ziton A/S. Now all conditions and approvals for the agreement are finally in place, Ziton said in a statement.

- This is an important milestone for Ziton, as Macquarie's investment supports the strong company we have built. With our solid market position, excellent customer relationships and some of the industry's best talents, we are well equipped for the future, says Thorsten Jalk, CEO of Ziton A/S.

Ziton was founded in Denmark in 2007 as one of the first companies in the offshore wind sector. Ziton currently owns and operates five jack-up vessels and has serviced 80 wind farms at 1,800 locations in the North Sea.
