In 2025, the Port of Rønne delivered a profit of 159 million DKK and a turnover of 271 million. DKK. This is an account that the port itself describes in a press release as "by far the best result in the port's history".

The result comes after a year of high activity across the port's business areas. Offshore activities in particular have driven the development, where the project areas have been fully utilized by large offshore wind projects throughout the year. Ferry traffic was also stable with over 2 million passengers, while the port handled 54 cruise calls. The bulk segment, on the other hand, experienced a slight decline compared to the previous year.

The good result coincides with the completion of the port's largest expansion ever, which has been several years in the making. The expansion has included, among other things, new quay facilities, improved navigation conditions, greater water depth and climate protection.

- With the completion of the port expansion, the Port of Rønne today has a modern and future-proof port. At the same time, the year's results show that we have managed to develop the port and deliver strong financial results at the same time, says Jess C. Persson, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rønne Havn A/S.

According to CEO Lars Nordahl, 2025 marks the end of a longer investment period. The expansion has significantly increased capacity and strengthened the port's role as both a supply port for Bornholm and as a strategic hub in the Baltic Sea.

- Recent years have been characterized by major investments and expansion. We are now entering a phase where the focus is more on utilizing the capacity we have established and creating even more value from the port's infrastructure, says Lars Nordahl.
