Vestas has received an order for 17 MW from an undisclosed customer from the Japanese market. The wind turbine manufacturer announced this in a statement.
The order includes four V117-4.2 MW wind turbines with a total capacity of 17 MW. In addition to the delivery of the turbines, the order also includes a 10-year AOM4000 service agreement.
The delivery of the turbines is planned for the first quarter of 2027, while commissioning is planned for 2028.
