The German project developer Prowind has ordered eight wind turbines from Nordex Group with a total capacity of 54.4 MW. The order also includes a 20-year service agreement to ensure high operational reliability and performance. Nordex said in a press release.
Six of the turbines will be delivered to the Hogenset wind project in Lower Saxony, while two turbines will be installed in the Füchtorf project, which is located in both Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia. All turbines will be installed on hybrid towers with a hub height of 179 meters and are expected to be installed before the end of 2027. The order builds on the cooperation between the two companies, after Prowind ordered seven turbines for projects in Lower Saxony last year.
