Nordex Group has received an order for the delivery and installation of 11 wind turbines for the Jasikovo wind farm in eastern Serbia with a total capacity of 70 MW. The turbines are of the N175/6.X type and are to be erected on 119-meter-high steel towers with an output of up to 7 MW per unit. The order also includes a 30-year Premium Service Agreement with the option of an extension for a further five years. This is stated by Nordex Group in a press release.

The Jasikovo wind farm is located in the Serbian Carpathians about 175 km east-southeast of Belgrade. The area has good wind conditions with an average wind speed of approximately 8 meters per second at hub height. The wind turbines will be equipped with Nordex's anti-ice system, which will ensure stable operation under the local climatic conditions.

- The project underlines the strong competitiveness of our N175/6.X turbine and the increasing demand for high-performance solutions in Southeastern Europe. Jasikovo is also the first time that Nordex turbines in Serbia will be equipped with our anti-ice system, says Paris Lappas, Sales Director for Mediterranean East at Nordex Group.

The installation of the first turbine is planned for April 2027, and the first electricity production is expected in July 2027. When the park is fully operational, it is expected to produce more than 270 GWh annually.

With the Jasikovo project, Nordex Group has sold a total of 425 MW of wind projects in Serbia.
