ODSHERRED: After Easter, politicians in Odsherred will in all likelihood decide whether the municipality should take on more of the debt following the failed district heating project in Odsherred Forsyning. This is reported by Sjællandske Nyheder.
Municipal director Claus Steen Madsen states that there have been meetings with the other major financial creditor and Nordea, and that it has not been completely fruitless. Odsherred Municipality has already taken on part of the debt of 1.5 billion kroner together with Nordea in connection with the utility company's reconstruction in August 2025.
- I expect that there will be a draft agreement on the table after Easter, which the city council can decide on, says Claus Steen Madsen.
