Ørsted has entered into a contract with Manor Renewable Energy to provide temporary energy during the installation of the offshore wind turbines at the Borssele 1 + 2 project. This is reported by offshoreWind.biz.
- We understand the requirements and expectations of the Ørsted team, which are in line with our own ambitions. We are excited to once again be involved in such a significant project and to once again work with the leaders in offshore wind energy, says Manor Renewable Energy's Business Director, Toby Mead.
The Borssele 1 + 2 project consists of 94 Siemens Gamesa 8MW turbines, which will be installed 22 kilometers off the coast of the Zeeland province in the Netherlands. The foundation for the installation of the turbines began earlier this year.
