Nordex lands order for 42 MW

31. MAR 2026 10.50
Nordsøen

Nordex Group has received an order for the delivery and installation of six wind turbines for the Peckelsheim-borger wind farm in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The project has a total capacity of 42 MW. Nordex informs in a press release.

The order has been signed with Max Bögl, who is already a partner of Nordex in Germany. The company supplies, among other things, concrete towers for wind projects, but also acts as both a developer and operator of wind farms. The Peckelsheim project is thus an example of the collaboration, where Max Bögl acts as both supplier and customer.

The six turbines that the project will consist of are of the type N163/6.X and will be erected on 164-meter-high hybrid towers. The agreement also includes a 20-year service contract to ensure operation and availability over time. The installation of the first turbine is planned to begin in spring 2027, while the entire wind farm is expected to be commissioned later that year.
