Nordex Group has received an order for 28 MW from Windpark Nuscheler GmbH for the Beesenstedt 3 project in the state of Saxony-Anhalt in Germany. The order includes the delivery of three N163/6.X turbines with a hub height of 164 meters and one additional turbine of the same type on a 118-meter high steel tower. This is stated by Nordex Group in a press release.
The agreement also includes a 15-year service contract, which is to ensure high technical availability of the plants. The installation of the turbines is planned for spring 2027, while commissioning is expected to be completed during the summer of the same year.
According to the German Bundesnetzagentur, 59 new wind turbines were installed in Saxony-Anhalt in 2025 with a total capacity of 330.8 MW. Today, there are around 2,760 turbines in operation in the state with a total capacity of almost 5.8 GW. Towards 2028, almost 300 more turbines with approximately 1.9 GW capacity are expected to be built.
