Vestas has secured two new wind turbine orders in Germany with a total capacity of 60 MW. The wind turbine manufacturer announced this in a press release.
One order comes from JUWI GmbH and includes the 31 MW Heidsiek Lauenstein project. Here, Vestas will deliver five V162-6.2 MW turbines, and a 20-year AOM 4000 service agreement has also been entered into. Delivery is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027, while commissioning is planned from the first quarter of 2028.
In addition, Vestas has also entered into an agreement with Venus Bene Consideratus GmbH & Co. KG I for the 29 MW Fürstenberg Wohlbedacht project. The order covers four V172-7.2 MW turbines and a 20-year service agreement. Delivery is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2026, and commissioning in the third quarter of 2027.
