The first quarter is about to end at the end of the day, and that typically means that Vestas presents a number of orders. This is also the case today. Vestas has thus presented three new orders early in the afternoon. These three projects have a total capacity of 187 MW and include two orders in Italy and an onshore order in the UK.
In Italy, Vestas has received an order from Adest S.R.L. for the Tricarico project with a capacity of 42 MW. The order includes seven V162-6 MW turbines and a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement. Delivery is planned for the second half of 2026, while commissioning is expected in 2027.
The second Italian order comes from Asja Energy Group and concerns the Alia Sclafani Bagni Valledolmo project with a total capacity of 55 MW. Here, Vestas will deliver four V162-6.0 MW turbines and five V162-6.2 MW turbines. This order is also linked to a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement. Delivery is planned for the second half of 2026, and commissioning is expected in 2027.
In addition, Vestas has won a major onshore order in the UK of 90 MW from an undisclosed customer for an undisclosed project. The order includes 20 V136-4.5 MW turbines and a 15-year AOM 5000 service agreement. Delivery is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2027, and commissioning is planned to start in the fourth quarter of 2027.
