In the first quarter of 2026, Nordex Group has achieved order intake of a total of 1,869 MW, which is a decrease compared to 2,182 MW in the same period the previous year. The average selling price per megawatt has increased from 0.87 to 0.91 million euros, reflecting both changes in the scope of the projects and geographical factors, the wind turbine manufacturer informs.
During the first three months of 2026, customers have placed orders for 292 wind turbines for projects in 13 countries. The most significant markets for Nordex have been Germany, Turkey and Sweden.
- We have had a robust start to the year with order intake of around 1.9 GW, which is in line with our expectations. We continue to see a healthy order pipeline in Europe and North America, and we are optimistic about the expected order momentum for the full year, says José Luis Blanco, CEO of Nordex Group.
