Former Minister of the Environment Kirsten Brosbøl will take up the position of new Chairman of the Board of the Brundtland Think Tank with effect from 9 April. She brings experience with sustainable development, international cooperation and political processes to the role.
Kirsten Brosbøl is a former member of parliament for the Social Democrats and was Minister of the Environment from 2014 to 2015. Since then, she has worked on, among other things, green transition, biodiversity and international partnerships. With her appointment, she will help strengthen the think tank's work for a more just and sustainable development.
- I am very much looking forward to heading the Board of the Brundtland Think Tank. Denmark has a very special potential to ensure that the supply cluster contributes to the green transition, Europe's independence and fair development. I will help to unlock that potential, says Kirsten Brosbøl, newly appointed chairman of the board of directors of the Brundtland Think Tank, in a press release.
Brosbøl takes over from Danish District Heating's director Kim Mortensen, who is taking a step down in the think tank and will become deputy chairman in the future.
The Brundtland Think Tank focuses on supply, critical infrastructure and the long-term resilience of society.
