Vestas has received a 70 MW order from Tessa Green Energy, which includes the delivery of 11 EnVentus V162-6.4 MW wind turbines for the Strazhitsa project in Bulgaria, as well as a long-term service agreement. Vestas Mediterranean said in a press release.
- We are proud that Tessa Green Energy has shown us confidence in the Strazhitsa project in Bulgaria. Getting a new project after a long break in the Bulgarian market is very significant for Vestas, and we hope it can help to kickstart a new era for wind energy in the country, says Srdan Cenic, General Manager and VP Sales in Southeast Europe and Central Asia.
Delivery of the turbines is expected to begin in Q1 2027, while commissioning is planned for Q2 and Q3 2027. Vestas has been active in Bulgaria since 2007 and has installed more than 360 MW of capacity in the country, where the company also operates service and maintenance.
