
Cadeler is one of the important spearheads in the green transition, because the installation company for offshore wind turbines has become the world's largest of its kind after the merger with the Monaco shipping company Eneti in December 2023. In connection with the merger, it was announced that the headquarters would be located in Copenhagen, where the company address is currently located at Kalvebod Brygge.
Now, however, virksomhedsinformationer shows that the CEO has moved his private residence to Monaco. The Kolding Population Register confirms that Mikkel Gleerup has moved his address to Monaco.
The CEO's newly built villa from 2022 in Kolding was sold at the beginning of July with the new owner taking over in November 2024 for a price of no less than 7.4 million. kr. – which JydskeVestkysten has previously written. The newspaper also notes that it is one of the municipality's most expensive homes.
Mikkel Gleerup's new domicile must be assumed to be in a completely different and higher category in terms of price, because the apartment is located on the 19th floor of the Château Périgord high-rise building. The property provider also describes the complex as: "An incomparable life of luxury".
Several Cadeler top brass have addresses in Monaco
From Cadeler's financial statements for 2023, it appears that Mikkel Gleerup's salary is in an income class that makes it possible to take up residence in Monaco. Mikkel Gleerup earned a salary of 1,450,449 euros in 2023, which corresponds to almost 11 million. DKK. In addition, there are share options worth several million each year.
It is not only Mikkel Gleerup from Cadeler who lives in Monaco. So does Emanuele Lauro, who is a board member of Cadeler and former CEO of Eneti, and also Cadeler's Danish CFO, Peter Brogaard Hansen, lives in the principality. Monaco is located on the Mediterranean east of Nice, from where the international airport has direct flights to both Copenhagen and other major cities.
