The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) has achieved progress in two international university rankings, which reflects the university's strategic work to strengthen its global profile and research performance. The university announced this in a press release.
DTU moves up two places and is now number 107 out of 1500 in the QS World University Rankings. At the same time, the university moves up six places in the U.S. News Best Global Universities Rankings and now occupies number 178 among 2250 universities.
- It is pleasing that DTU maintains its strong position in two recognized university rankings - and even moves up a little. This testifies to the stable and targeted efforts we have made to strengthen our international profile and research impact, says Christine Nellemann, Pro-Rector of DTU.
QS World University Rankings assess universities based on, among other things, academic reputation, employer assessment and the relationship between teachers and students. Here, DTU scores highly on the proportion of international researchers and is ranked 52nd globally on this indicator. The university is also making progress in terms of the proportion of international students, academic reputation and graduate employment.
In the U.S. News ranking, which focuses on research indicators such as publications, citations and international collaboration, DTU is now number 64 in Europe and maintains its position as number three in Denmark (After KU and AU ed.).
