Money is on the way to almost half of the landowners who had applied for compensation for inconveniences that they believe will be affected in connection with the establishment of the offshore wind farm Vesterhav Syd and Vesterhav Nord, writes TV Midtvest.
Thus, the Taxation Authority informs the media that 160 out of the 291 applicants have received compensation. This means that 131 have also been rejected. The total amount of money that will be given in compensation is not disclosed. A single summer house owner, who TV Midtvest has spoken to, whose summer house is located in Klegod south of Søndervig, has, however, been recognized as 9.2 percent. of the house worth 6.5 million DKK in compensation.
The decisions from the Valuation Authority cannot be appealed. The Vesterhav Syd wind farm is being built off the northern part of Holmsland Klit, while Vesterhav Nord is being built south of Thyborøn.
