A wind turbine transport broke down on Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Thyborønvej and Lemvigvej at Tørring Huse west of Lemvig. The road was therefore closed from around 3 p.m., while work began on moving the blade to a new truck and removing the damaged transport truck. The road was closed until 3:08 a.m. on Thursday night, when the cleanup at the site was completely finished. TV Midtvest reports.

The wind turbine blade was on its way from Thyborøn and 17 kilometers south to Høvsøre Test Center, where it was to be repaired. The transport company Mammoth was responsible for the transport. Mammoet's CEO, Michael Hansen, does not know what caused the transport to break, but stated that he has never experienced anything like this before.

- Now it is being disassembled and taken to our own workshop. So we have to examine it, he says.
