Vestas has secured an order for 90 MW for an undisclosed wind turbine project in South Korea. The project will be the largest onshore wind turbine project for Vestas in the country to date, the wind turbine manufacturer said in a statement.
The order will be delivered in the form of 21 V136-4.2 MW wind turbines in operation mode 4.3 MW. Vestas has since entered into an agreement with the orderer for a "multi-year" service agreement of the type AOM5000.
Delivery of the turbines is planned to begin in the second quarter of 2025, with commissioning planned for 2026.
