Energinet will have a new member of the Executive Board at the turn of the year when Torben Thyregod steps down after 15 years as CFO. Marianne Hansen, current Director of Group Finance and Business Support, will take over as the new CFO.

Marianne Hansen has been with Energinet since October 2011 and has held several leading roles, most recently as Director of Group Finance and Business Support. Before Energinet, she worked at DONG Energy and TDC.

Therefore, efficient and responsible business operations are absolutely essential, also in the years ahead, when we are looking at a massive expansion of the infrastructure and a significant increase in both physical and digital security, says Marianne Hansen.
This will be a farewell to Torben Thyregod, who has been CFO of Energinet since January 2011. He came from a position as interim CFO in Sanistål. A position he held for 14 months, after a 14-year career as CFO at Copenhagen Airport.
Torben Thyregod will step down at the end of the year, but will be available to ensure a good and seamless transition to Marianne Hansen, the company informs.
