RWE Offshore Wind GmbH has awarded Semco Maritime an offshore service framework agreement from September 2025 to the end of 2027, with the option of a two-year extension. The agreement covers planned and unplanned maintenance and troubleshooting of above-water auxiliary equipment at substations in Germany.
The project includes the offshore wind farms in the North Sea: Amrumbank West, Nordsee Ost and Kaskasi near the island of Helgoland, as well as Arkona in the Baltic Sea. Once the North Sea projects are fully operational by RWE and partner Norges Bank Investment Management, these can also be covered by the framework agreement in the same way.
Klaus Iversen Grau, Senior Manager at Semco Maritime, says: "We are excited to intensify the collaboration with RWE and add value through our flexible service concepts and partnership approach."
