An order has been placed at Vestas' order office from the Romanian market. Eolenerg Project SRL has placed an order for 50 MW for the Sacele project, which is to be built in southwestern Romania. Vestas announced this in a statement.
For the project, Vestes will deliver three V150-4.0MW and nine V150-4.2MW turbines. Vestas will also service the turbines for 20 years under an AOM 5000 service agreement.
Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2025 and the turbines are scheduled to be in operation in the fourth quarter of the same year.
