NKT's CEO, Alexander Kara, chose to resign from his position at the cable manufacturer with immediate effect on Tuesday for personal reasons. Instead, NKT has appointed Claes Westerlind as the new CEO. He has been part of the company's management since 2019.
- The market is a little surprised by the timing of the change. NKT is entering a particularly important period, and it is of course a little unfortunate that they are changing CEO now, says chief trader at Danske Bank Mads Zink.
- Uncertainty is never something the stock market likes, and it seems a little strange, he adds.
The news sent the share down 4.1 percent on Tuesday to DKK 343.
