Philippe Groueix took over the helm after Patrick Gilly left Total back in February last year. Now, however, Philippe Groueix has been given a new position at TotalEnergies, where he will instead be CEO of TotalEnergies E&P Uganda.

The change is in connection with the establishment of a new OneTech department at TotalEnergies and new developments for parts of TotalEnergies' activities in Africa.

This means that TotalEnergies in Denmark will have its third CEO in just two years. TotalEnergies Denmark has already appointed Philippe Groueix's replacement, who will be Eric Delattre.

Eric Delattre was previously CEO of Total's activities in Mauritania and most recently worked as EP Digital Transformation Officer for Total's Digital Factory. Eric Delattre has more than 20 years of experience at Total.

"Eric Delattre is a strong operational leader with more than 20 years of experience from TotalEnergies, and his latest role as head of the E&P division's digital transformation will strengthen the digitalization that Total EP Danmark is undergoing, in which the rebuilt high-tech Tyra will play a key role," TotalEnergies states in an email to DK Havenergi.

Philippe Groueix and Eric Delattre will work together over the coming weeks to ensure that the transition between the two CEOs is resolved as smoothly as possible.

It is not yet clear when Eric Delattre will officially take over the position as CEO of TEPDK, but it is expected to happen during the summer.
