The CEO of Total's activities in the Danish North Sea, Patrick Gilly, has resigned from his position with effect from the end of March.
To replace Patrick Gilly, Total has recruited Philippe Groueix from its own ranks. The new CEO of Total EP Denmark will take up the position from April, where he will be responsible for Total's oil and gas activities in the Danish North Sea.
Philippe Groueix comes from a role as CEO of Total EP Bolivia with more than 20 years of experience from the Total Group.
Philippe Groueix will continue the previous direction and focus on the operation of current activities and plans, which include the reconstruction of the Tyra field, Total's press department informs.
Patrick Gilly was previously head of Maersk Oil, where he was hired in 2013, where he had just come from a position at Total, but he returned to the company when Maersk Oil was taken over by Total in 2017.
