Verdo hires Julie Møgelvang Bjørnsholm as new CFO, effective February 1, 2026, where she will form the executive board of the group together with CEO Jesper Vinter Barslund. This is stated by Verdo Energy and Utilities in a press release.
Verdo's former CFO Kenneth R. H. Jeppesen resigned from his position in August in connection with a major round of cuts, which resulted in the closure of 70 positions. The cuts came against the backdrop of a record deficit in the Verdo group of DKK 163 million after tax in 2024.
According to Verdo, the new CFO will support the group's continued development and ensure a sharp financial focus in a period where electrification and green transition provide new strategic opportunities. Jesper Vinter Barslund emphasizes that the recruitment has been thorough to ensure a profile with strong professional experience and analytical capacity, who can lead the financial management in the transformation.

Julie Møgelvang Bjørnsholm comes from almost 10 years at Vestas, where she has held leading roles within global finance, performance management and financial transformation programs. She previously worked at Dansk Supermarked A/S and POWER A/S and holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Financial Management.
