AARHUS: Thomas Haber Borch has been CEO of the Port of Aarhus since 1 July 2020 and is thus stepping down after almost five and a half years in the position.

- The Board of Directors recognizes the great effort that Thomas Haber Borch has made for the Port of Aarhus through difficult years with the corona lockdown, supply crisis in world trade and a difficult process regarding the proposed expansion of the Outer Harbor. However, we in the Board of Directors have decided that there is a need for a different profile to lead the further development of the Port of Aarhus in the future, says Chairman of the Board Susanne Juhl.

Pending the appointment of a new CEO, the Board of Directors will appoint an interim CEO, which is expected to be announced within a few days.

The Port of Aarhus is now initiating a recruitment process to find a new CEO. The process is expected to be completed in the first half of the new year.
