DCC Energi has now completed the acquisition of 21 HK Olie gas stations in Central and Southern Jutland, which the company announced on March 2. This is stated by the energy company in a press release.
With the acquisition, the Danish Shell network grows by more than 10 percent to a total of 216 gas stations. At the same time, the company is initiating a conversion of the acquired facilities, which will in future be operated as unmanned Shell Express stations.
- It is very pleasing that we can now formally complete the acquisition of HK Olie's gas stations. The expectation is that the new Shell Express facilities will be completed within a few months. However, motorists will be able to fill up with Shell fuel at all facilities from day one, and the plan is to complete the necessary conversions while the gas stations are in operation, says Daniel Andersen, CEO of DCC Energi.
DCC Energi is behind the Shell network in Denmark and offers energy solutions to both private and commercial customers. In recent years, the company has invested in new forms of energy such as electricity, heat pumps, solar cells and charging solutions for electric cars, but at the same time maintains focus on the gas station business.
