Per Jensen, director Port Services at Blue Water Shipping, has been elected as the new chairman of Danish Shipping and Port Companies (DSHV) at the association's annual general meeting on May 6. He takes over the position from Klaus G. Andersen from Fredericia Shipping as a result of the association's articles of association regarding term limits on the chairmanship. This is stated by DSHV in a press release.
- As chairman of DSHV, I will continue the dedicated work of improving the framework conditions for Danish shipping and port companies, with a targeted focus on commercial investments and strategic port development that contributes to ensuring national security of supply and green transition, says Per Jensen.
Lars Jespersen, CEO of SDK Shipping A/S, will continue as vice chairman together with Jesper Hansson from Svane Shipping, who will also join the association's chairmanship.
At the general meeting, Klaus G. Andersen was also thanked for his efforts as chairman and vice chairman, although he will remain part of the board.
