Since 2016, the NRGi pool has supported projects that, among other things, make a positive difference for the climate and local communities.
The company now offers the opportunity to apply for grants throughout the year when the application concerns the establishment of charging stations or heat pumps, so that the funds can be allocated when the need for electrification is there.
- In order to maintain progress in the electrification of Denmark, there is a need for initiatives that support both the overall infrastructure and the choices that private consumers make in their everyday lives. Charging stations and heat pumps are central to this development, and therefore it makes sense to make access to support more flexible, says Tommy Jakobsen, Head of Communications at NRGi, in a press release.
The NRGi Fund will continue to have two ordinary application rounds in the spring and autumn, and there is still a requirement that applicants attach documentation for solutions and offers when applying for support, to ensure quality and coherence between advice, installation and operation.
Since 2016, the NRGi Fund has awarded over 70 million DKK to 558 projects in its supply area with a focus on green transition, energy efficiency and local communities.
