+The EU's gas storage is currently falling by 4-8 TWh daily and is now filled to less than 34 percent, which corresponds to 388 TWh of gas, according to figures from AGSI. This is reported by EnergiWatch. EU rules require gas storage to be at least 90 percent full by November 1, but last year they only reached 83 percent.

Only in the crisis year 2022 have gas storage been lower at this time, but according to the media outlet AGSI states that "the situation is yellow" when the filling level is below 40 percent, but that this is not necessarily a problem for the current winter.

However, several countries already have very low gas storage. Croatia is only 15.7 percent full, the Netherlands 15.6 percent, and Germany is below the EU average with 24.0 percent full.
