Vestas has received an order for 136 MW for an undisclosed wind project in Canada from an undisclosed customer. The wind turbine manufacturer announced this in a statement.
The order consists of 22 V162-6.2 MW wind turbines on the EnVentus platform. Vestas has also entered into a "multi-year" service agreement for the AOM5000 turbines.
The turbines are scheduled to be delivered in the third quarter of 2024, and are expected to be in operation in the fourth quarter of the same year.
