Although 220 employees are to be laid off at the Port of Odense, deputy chairman Peter Rahbæk Juel (S) believes that the port's future looks bright. This is reported by TV2 Fyn.
- We are in the process of building a new center where robots will be introduced in the production of large components, so that the port is future-proof - also when it comes to offshore wind, says Peter Rahbæk Juel, mayor of Odense and deputy chairman of the Port of Odense.
He also points out that interest in offshore wind remains high internationally. There is still demand for offshore wind turbines around the world.
