The Kolding-based energy group has sold all of its foreign wind turbines for an undisclosed amount. This means that 14 wind turbines in Germany and two Swedish wind farms are no longer part of Ewii's portfolio.

- It is our position that we can do the most for the green transition in Denmark by focusing our activities closer to our customers and partners. So it is a strategic decision, says Oliver Wolgast, Director of Renewables, Trading and Consulting at Ewii.

The German wind turbines, located in Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia respectively, have been purchased by the German energy company ENOVA. The two Swedish farms will be taken over by the Swedish energy group, Rabbelshede Kraft. After the sale, the Ewii group has 22 wind turbines located in Western Denmark.
