Vestas has signed three new agreements in Finland totaling 277 MW with Swedish developer OX2 AB. The orders are part of Vestas’ order intake in the fourth quarter and include the delivery of wind turbines for three projects in the country.
The three wind farms are Kannisto (124 MW), Korkeamaa (108 MW) and Salo-Ylikoski (45 MW). The projects will be equipped with a total of 44 V162 turbines in the 6.2 and 6.4 MW variants, and all agreements include a 25-year AOM 5000 service agreement.
Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2027, while commissioning is expected to start during the second and third quarters of the same year.
