Last year, four well-known engineering houses in the wind industry – Biir, Blaaholm, Sonne and Eltronic Wind Solutions, merged under the name Enabl, a new engineering house under the Eltronic Group.
Just over a year after the merger, significant things happened at Enabl. Thus, at the end of June, both the CEO, Thomas Hedegaard, and CFO, Flemming Andersen, said goodbye.
Eltronic Group's founder and CEO, Lars Jensen, took over responsibility and has been acting CEO of Enabl. He will continue to do so for a few more months, but the vacancy for the CEO position has been found, Enabl states in a statement.
Thus, Søren Kvorning will start as CEO of Enabl on December 1. He comes from a position as Senior Vice President, Head of Sales, Marketing and Service at Danfoss Drives.
- I am very much looking forward to welcoming Søren to the position of CEO. He will ensure continued sustainable development and innovative technological solutions for our customers in the wind industry, says Lars Jensen.
Enabl says that one of the tasks awaiting Søren Kvorning in the company will be "to lead the company on its journey towards becoming an even greater contributor to customers' value chains and thereby support more agile business models". The incoming CEO is looking forward to the challenge.
- It is an honor to become part of Enabl, which is an innovative industrial company with solid competencies. The company also has a strong position in the market. I consider ENABL to be an ambitious and unique engineering and technology leader in the green transition - a topic that is close to my heart. Throughout my career, I have worked internationally with a focus on energy efficiency, and I look forward to continuing on the path of development while ensuring that we take good care of our customers, says Søren Kvorning.
