Bojer Innovative Engineering Consulting (BIIR), which among other things works with consulting assignments for wind energy, becomes a new member of Eltronic Group, after BIIR declared itself bankrupt last week. This is stated by Eltronic Group on its website.
However, the engineers at BIIR will continue in a newly established company, Biir A/S, under Eltronic Group. 125 employees in Denmark and Aarhus respectively can continue in the engineering house out of just over 180 employees in the previous structure.
The two BIIR co-owners Henning Johnsen and Esben Eskerod will continue to be responsible for the daily management in collaboration with Lars Jensen, who will become the new CEO. With the takeover of BIIR, Eltronic Group has just over 650 employees and an annual turnover of just over 750 million DKK and several departments, including Eltronic Wind Solutions.
