CO-industri and the Confederation of Danish Industries have reached an agreement on new collective agreements for 230,000 employees in the industry. The agreement has been approved by CO-industri's central management today. CO-industri writes this in a press release.
- The new collective agreements provide significant improvements and meet the wishes of the members for better opportunities to reconcile work and family life as well as more money in the paycheck, says CO-industri CEO XXX, who is CO-industri's CEO.
The agreement includes, among other things, an increase in the voluntary account from 9 to 11 percent, an increase in the employer's pension contribution from 10 to 11 percent and an increase in the minimum wage from DKK 136.15 to DKK 146.90 over the collective agreement period. New rights are introduced to use the voluntary account for time off in connection with a child's illness and health consultations, and maternity leave conditions are improved with two extra weeks of payment with full pay during parental leave.
The settlement also includes an improved right to continuing and further education for dismissed employees, an annual salary negotiation for salaried employees, and increased payment for overtime and supplements. CO-industri's central management recommends a yes vote in the upcoming vote among the union members.
