Mayor of Bornholm Regional Municipality Jacob Trøst (K) is gathering a number of Bornholm stakeholders for a meeting on Tuesday about the future of Bornholm after the decision to put Energiø Bornholm on hold. This is reported by DR Bornholm.
The meeting will clarify the consequences of the postponement of the project and involves, among others, Baltic Energy Island, Bornholms Energi og Forsyning, Campus Bornholm and Rønne Havn.
- There are a number of people working on how we can best handle this development and how Bornholm can get the most out of it. This work cannot continue indefinitely. It costs some resources, says Mayor Jacob Trøst.
