ATP will continue to make green investments despite failures

Crises in the two green companies Northvolt and Green Hydrogen Systems, in which ATP has invested large amounts, prompted ATP's CEO, Martin Præstegaard, to announce earlier this week that the pension fund will make fewer climate investments due to greater risks and higher costs.

However, there will be no complete stop to green investments at the pension giant. ATP's chairman Torben M. Andersen emphasizes this to Finans.

- It is clear that ATP, as a professional investor, will take into account the market development in the area and the experience gained, which currently points to several types of green investments being more difficult than they were a few years ago, says the chairman of the board.
