All wind turbines at Ørsted's offshore wind farm Borselle 1 & 2 have now been installed off the coast of the Netherlands, Deme Offshore writes on its website.
The first turbine was installed in mid-April at Borselle 1 & 2, which consists of 94 Siemens Gamesa 8 MW wind turbines and has a total capacity of 752 MW.
- It has been possible to set up an offshore wind farm of 752 MW in just nine months during a pandemic, without anyone getting sick. That is something we can be proud of, says Henrik Egholm, EPC director Borssele 1 & 2 for Ørsted.
