After months of economic turmoil and reconstruction, Better Energy is postponing several planned solar cell projects on Funen, even though the company is showing signs of improvement. This is reported by Fyens Stiftstidende.
Better Energy has plants in, among others, Nørre Åby, Fraugde, Svendborg and Ebberup. According to the media, the company also has new projects underway at Staurby in Middelfart and Skovby on North Funen. In addition, Tved and Ringe are among the named CVR companies in the Better Energy group, which are also not yet listed. These projects are now on hold, and it is doubtful whether investment decisions will be made on them in the near future.
- I am not going to give a guess as to what we will close down. We do not expect that there are many projects on which investment decisions can be made this year or 2026. This does not mean that we are throwing everything on the ground, but we are postponing them for the time being, says Rasmus Lildholdt Kjær, CEO of Better Energy.
The director will also not rule out that some of the existing Funen plants may be sold.
