F.C. Copenhagen's home ground, Parken, now gets a large part of its power supply from renewable energy. Andel's newest solar park in Vedde in Central Denmark is connected to the grid and produces electricity equivalent to around half of Parken's annual electricity consumption.

The solar park covers an area of approximately 151 football pitches and consists of more than 180,000 solar panels. Parken Sport & Entertainment has entered into a so-called Power Purchase Agreement with Andel, so that the energy from the park matches the consumption at both Parken and three Lalandia centres.

Although all electricity is mixed into the grid, the agreement ensures that a large part of Parken's energy consumption now comes from solar energy. According to F.C. Copenhagen CEO Jacob Lauesen, the partnership marks an important step in the club's green transition and also contributes to increased production of renewable energy in Denmark.

The partnership is part of F.C. Copenhagen's ForKBH initiative, which aims to strengthen the club's social commitment.
