The energy and fiber network group Andel has opened the nomination process for this year's board of representatives elections, where the cooperative members will have the opportunity to influence the group's direction within energy, digital development and green transition. The nomination process can be done on Andel's website, but requires ten candidates, Andel informs in a press release.
From January 5 to 27, cooperative members can stand as candidates in Roskilde city and in the municipalities of Odsherred, Slagelse, Solrød and Sorø. A total of 44 seats of the board of representatives' 148 members are up for election - divided between 15 in Odsherred, 9 in Roskilde, 9 in Slagelse, 5 in Solrød and 6 in Sorø.
- We are determined to play a crucial role in the work of phasing out fossil fuels and ensuring a green energy supply, says Bart Gyldenløve Roetink, chairman of the board of directors at Andel.
The election itself will take place on March 2-23, 2026, where cooperative members in the electoral areas can vote for the candidate they believe should have a place on the board of representatives.
