After two years of declining sales, growth is back in the Danish part of the technology company Siemens. In the 2024/2025 financial year, the company had revenue of almost 2.2 billion kroner. This is according to Siemens in a press release.

Compared to sales in the 2023/2024 financial year, this is growth of approximately 30 percent.

Siemens itself points to the acquisition of the company Fire Safety as part of the reason for the increasing sales. Fire Safety specializes in technologies within fire protection, including water mist systems for firefighting. Siemens bought the company from Danfoss in 2024. The purchase brought with it around 125 employees.

Siemens' operating profit has also improved in the past year, when it amounted to 112 million kroner. This corresponds to an increase of approximately 23 percent. Max Andersen, head of Siemens' Danish business, believes that the improved operating result shows that the business is being run efficiently.

- We are a dynamically developing company, where we have strengthened our market position, diversified our portfolio and built an organization that delivers results. This gives me great confidence in the future, he says in the press release.

While both revenue and operating earnings have grown in the financial year just ended, the bottom line looks different. Here, total earnings are DKK 94 million, which is approximately half as much as the year before.

Siemens points out that the result in 2023/2024 was extraordinarily affected by the sale of its engine business. Therefore, the decline is more of an expression of a return to normal conditions, it says.

The result in 2024/2025 is also higher than in the four years before 2023/2024. In the 2025/2026 financial year, Siemens expects revenue to grow further by between five and ten percent.

- We have innovative solutions that the market demands and are at the forefront of utilizing artificial intelligence, says Max Andersen in the press release.
