AALBORG: A joint board of directors of Aalborg Forsyning A/S has decided that the collaboration with CEO Søren Gais Kjeldsen will end today. "The company is now entering a new phase, and the board therefore wants a new management profile," the press release from the utility states.
Søren Gais Kjeldsen, who has been CEO for 11 years, has been in charge of a number of major tasks at Aalborg Forsyning, including the establishment of a unified multi-supply, and has worked to create a green and sustainable multi-supply company: "I would like to thank Søren for his great efforts and for the fact that within a short number of years we will be self-sufficient with green district heating", says Anna Aaen, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Aalborg Forsyning.
Technical Director Jesper Høstgaard-Jensen has been appointed as CEO of Aalborg Forsyning from today, and the Board of Directors is now starting the recruitment process to find a new CEO.
