
With a salary of 30.4 million DKK last year, Vestas' CEO, Henrik Andersen, just barely squeezes into the top 10 list of the country's best-paid CEOs. The list is compiled by Økonomisk Ugebrev, which is a survey of the 100 highest CEO salaries. The Vestas CEO's salary has remained unchanged over the past year despite pressure on the wind turbine manufacturer's profitability, the weekly writes.
Last year, Henrik Andersen received a total salary of just over 30 million DKK, of which eleven million DKK is the fixed salary. According to the remuneration report, the short-term bonus was zero kroner, while the long-term share program provided an award of 19 million kroner. In the short-term bonus program, the profit margin is weighted at 50 percent, and it came out below the target.
Only revenue, which weighs 15 percent, came out better than the target for Vestas, while internal production conditions, which are not further explained, with a weighting of 20 percent. came out worse than the target.
In the long-term share program, Henrik Andersen received 72 percent of the maximum allocation, based on meeting the target for earnings per share (weighted 50 percent) and biscuits on ROCE (return on capital employed) (weighted 30 percent). Finally, Vestas' market share weighs 20 percent in the share program, and it was not finally known yet in February, writes Økonomisk Ugebrev.
The list is topped by Novo Nordisk's Lars Fruergaard Jørgensen, who has a total annual salary of 57 million. DKK. The other top ten are made up of Søren Skou, A.P.
