
Vattenfall has appointed David Flood as the new head of Business Unit Offshore Wind. He will report directly to Catrin Jung, Senior Vice President, Head of Business Area Wind. David Flood comes from Statkraft, where he has been leading the company's offshore activities. The Swedish energy company announced this in a statement.
- David brings more than 15 years of experience in offshore wind and has worked across the value chain in joint ventures and partnerships. His industry knowledge, network and strategic perspective will be valuable as we develop Vattenfall's offshore ambitions. I look forward to the new insights and leadership he will bring to Vattenfall, says Catrin Jung, CEO of Vattenfall.
Flood has worked in the fossil-free energy sector for 20 years with a focus on offshore wind and also has experience from onshore wind, solar, hydropower and grid services. He has held leading roles in the development of European projects and has led Statkraft's offshore business for the past three years.

David Flood will join on March 2, 2026.
