Nordex Group has received three new orders from DenkerWulf, one of Germany's leading developers of onshore wind, for a total of 25 turbines with a total capacity of 122.7 MW. The company will also be responsible for the maintenance of the turbines for 20 years via a premium service agreement. The German wind turbine manufacturer announced this in a statement.
The three wind farms will be built in Schleswig-Holstein. Three N149/5.X turbines will be installed in Galmsbüll Bahrenhof, 18 N133/4800 turbines in Galmsbüll Park and four turbines of the same type in Padenstedt. The hub heights in the Galmsbüll projects on the North Sea coast are between 105 and 110 meters, while the turbines in Padenstedt will have hub heights between 110 and 125 meters.
- We are pleased to have received further orders from DenkerWulf. With almost 144 MW in new orders this year, Galmsbüll with its 18 turbines is also one of our largest projects in Germany. By using Nordex turbines in these projects, we support DenkerWulf in the sustainable production and supply of electricity in northern Germany. The N133/4800 turbines are developed for regions with similarly strong wind conditions and can optimally utilize local resources, says Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President Region Central at Nordex Group.
