Cadeler has signed a Vessel Reservation Agreement (VRA) with Ocean Winds for the installation of wind turbine generators (VTGs) in the BC-Wind offshore wind farm in the Polish part of the Baltic Sea. The potential value of the contract is estimated to be between 48 million and 56 million euros (approximately DKK 358-418 million). The company writes this in a press release.

The agreement includes the transport and installation of around 30 wind turbine generators, where Cadeler will deploy one of its O-class vessels for the project. The BC-Wind offshore wind farm has a capacity of up to 500 MW and will be built approximately 23 km from the Polish coastline. It is expected to be completed in 2028.

- We are pleased to enter into a new partnership with Ocean Winds, where we can leverage our expertise and resources to further strengthen our Polish pipeline. Poland has become a significant player in the offshore wind market, and we look forward to working in the Baltic Sea again and contributing to the development of offshore wind energy in the region, says Mikkel Gleerup, CEO of Cadeler.

Cadeler already has several projects in Poland, including the installation of wind turbines at the Baltyk 2 and Baltyk 3, Baltica 2 and Baltic Power offshore wind farms.
